FROM THE TOP, DOWN.
Gravity is a very beneficial force. One that helps to keep nature in order, keeps us grounded in reality, and gives all of us a relatively level and balanced perspective of our surroundings. However, how much of our surroundings and environment is 2-dimensional and only exists from one point-of-view?
A baseline perspective is nice for everyone to start from, but with so much height left untouched, we want to help give everyone the opportunity to extend their eye-line to see things a little differently. And with that different perspective hopefully comes a new found appreciation.
So we couple technology with experience to bring forth a visual landscape that is the same, yet vastly different, from what we are always accustomed to seeing.
WHO WE ARE
Do I have a degree in technology, photography, or mechanical engineering? No...no I do not. And while a degree in any of those fields would probably suit advantageously, I do not see that lack as a disadvantage. I graduated with a Bachelor's in biochemistry and have worked as a medicinal chemist doing cancer research and working on therapeutic platforms aimed at providing an answer for people who don't have as many as others may have. But why is that important? To me, when it comes to Vertical Reach, the motivation behind it is a parallel to the backing behind me being a chemist. It's not about the title, or the position, not even necessarily the content of the position. To me, it's about what I can do WITH the position. And if you were to look at my job as a chemist and the cornerstone for why Vertical Reach was founded, I can guarantee you that the potential with both does not change. The only thing that changes is the setting.
Having worked in the video industry for several years, enjoying the outdoors and flying recreational aircraft, and a drive for wanting to serve others, I built Vertical Reach to merge the very things that I love in order to facilitate my passion spreading outward to those I care about.
Vertical Reach is an analogy that snapshots the very perspective that we should all strive for on a day-to-day basis. Driven by Christian values and built on a platform that aims for a higher vantage point, the company focuses on giving first credit to the One upon whom it's due, but then taking everything that He has provided and supplied and sharing a more vertically-oriented perspective that will literally take your viewpoint to a much higher level.
Case in point, it truly is a vertical approach to what we always perceive as a simple horizontal landscape.
